The construction of Olympic swimming pool in sports center "Neftyanik" opened new perspectives for development of water polo in Russia as well as  for elaboration of international sport relations. Russian and international water polo competitions are held here on a regular basis.

CTK-Lighting Technical Company was in charge of lighting equipment supply (equipment produced by SBP) as well as of lighting project development of the swimming pool taking into consideration the requirements for live TV broadcasting.

Project was realized in 2003.
